Saudi-backed al Qaeda terrorists targeted the residence of Iran's envoy to Yemen today. Three people were reported killed in the car bombing and several injured but according to Iran's Foreign Ministry spoekswoman Marzieh Afkham, Iranian diplomats were safe. Ambassador Hossein Niknam was not at his residence at the time of the blast.
The French National Assembly became the latest elected body calling for the recognition of a Palestinian State. The French follow Britain, Ireland, Sweden and Spain in support of Palestine. The ball was set rolling by a vote in the UN General Assembly in November 2012 upgrading Palestine's status to a non-member state.
The law has finally caught up with Zionist writer Ezra Levant who thought he could defame Muslims without facing legal consequences. No more. Judge Wendy Matheson ruled on November 27 that Levant had defamed lawyer Khurram Awan when the latter testified before the British Columbia Human Rights Tribunal about Mark Steyn's Islamophobic article published in Maclean's magazine in 2006. Steyn called for Muslim genocide.
Judicial lynching is still a part of life in the US, especially for blacks. The grand jury's verdict to not indict police officer Darren Wilson in the killing of an unarmed black teenager Michael Brown reflects this grim reality. Thousands of people have been protesting for the second night running in more than 90 cities across the US
The takfiri phenomenon that has erupted in the Middle East and parts of Africa is the creation of the imperialists and Zionists and their puppets in the Arab world. Addressing the issue, the Rahbar Imam Seyyed Ali Khamenei asked the assembled scholars to deconstruct this latest menace to unity in the Muslim world.
After three days of talks in Vienna, no significant progress seems to have been made between Islamic Iran and the P5+1 group of countries. As the deadline of November 24 approaches, all sides are making efforts but the major stumbling block is US refusal, under Zionist pressure, to lift the illegal sanctions it has imposed on Iran. Tehran wants them lifted immediately while the US wants gradual lifting.
The Zionists have escalated their attacks on Palestinians resisting the illegal occupiers' attempts to take over Masjid al-Aqsa with a view to its destruction to build their Temple there.
Living up to his horrific nature and use of bombastic language, the takfiri terrorist chief has threatened "volcanoes of jihad" against the "Jews and the Crusaders." This is akin to Saddam Hussain's hyperbole of the "mother of all battles." The takfiri chief seems to show even greater degree of brutality than the now dead Saddam.
For the Saudis nothing is sacred. They have not only wiped out 98 percent of all Islamic heritage sites, the latest casualties were the columns that marked the Prophet's (pbuh) nightly journey from Makkah to al-Quds and onward to miraj. Now the house where the Prophet (pbuh) was born, is slated for demolition. In its place, a larger palace for the king would be built!
The Saudi regime is in total disarray. Its policies at home and abroad have failed and are failing. Internally, there is great discontent because of lack of job opportunities. Abroad, the Saudis have got into a deeper tangle in Syria but their policy is unraveling. How long can this situation last?
Without admitting that it has murdered innocent civilians, the US government has been handing out “bags of cash” to victims' families of US drone strikes in Yemen. One outspoken family member took the money but distributed it among families struggling after the loss of loved ones. Evidence of US hush money was provided by lawyers for Reprieve, the British organization looking into US drone strike victims.
Dr Mads Gilbert at the Shifa Hospital in besieged Gaza Strip. He has dedicated his life to treating the badly injured Palestinians, many of them children, victims of the Zionist killing machine. Dr Gilbert has been banned from entering Gaza by the Zionist occupiers of Palestine citing “security reasons.” Whose security, one wonders!
Mohammed Abu Khdeir was abducted by Zionist terrorists, tortured and then burnt alive. When the family wanted to mourn, the Zionist occupation forces and authorities would not let them do so while Zionist officials tried to make hypocritical appearances at the family home.
Far from shutting it down as Barack Obama promised soon after he was sworn in as president for the first time in January 2009, Guantanamo Bay prison camp is being expanded. The Pentagon has sought $69 million for expansion work. There are still 150 prisoners held there despite no charges being brought against them except for a few but even they have not been tried in any court of law.
How wicked can these Mooslem terrorists get? They even plotted to kill Her Majesty the Queen, the kindly 88-year-old grandmother and Head of the Commonwealth and Colonies. Thanks to great work by the London police and MI5, the plot was nabbed just in time before Remembrance Day to allow for a smooth celebration. The alleged terrorists were going to use a knife. Really!
The UN has finally mustered the courage to establish an Inquiry Commission into Israeli war crimes during its onslaught on Gaza in July/August 2014. The Inquiry Commission announced by UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon today will comprise five members. The UN chief had visited Gaza last month and come away visibly shaken after witnessing Israel's destruction of civilian infrastructure including UN buildings.
There was no progress in two days of talks in Oman despite the three top diplomats--Iranian Foreign Minister Dr Javad Zarif, US Secretary of State John Kerry and EU Foreign Policy chief Catherine Ashton--held 10 hours of discussions. The talks were described as “intense, serious and tough”. What this meant was that both sides held to their positions without making any concessions.
There are conflicting reports about Abu Bakr al Baghdadi's condition . One claim from Iraqi defence minister says that he was wounded in a US air strike on November 7 only to be contradicted by a claim from Iraq's interior ministry official claiming he was wounded in an air strike on November 8 morning at Qaim about 460 kms away. Does this indicate Iraqi incompetence or they are simply indulging in wishful thinking?
Barack Obama, the Nobel Peace Prize recipient (2009) is in fighting mood. He wants the newly elected Republican-controlled Congress to give him authorization to wage war that he launched three months ago. Now that's legality for you!
The claim that Facebook has developed a secure way for people to communicate is a fraud. This is a deliberate attempt to mislead people and lull them into believing that following revelations about the intrusive activities of western regimes monitoring internet traffic, there is finally a “secure” way to communicate. There is no such thing as secure communication on the Internet.
