


Exactly a week after an International Conference on Takfirism and Extremism in the Islamic World was held in Qom, Islamic Republic of Iran (November 23-24), a similar conference was held in Damascus. This was already confirmed by independent observers on the ground in Syria such as Canada's Tony Seed.
A large contingent of international observers from four continents is in Syria to observe the election firsthand. Despite threats from the Western-Arabian backed takfiri terrorists, the people of Syria have defied these and voted with their feet in the presidential election. These independent observers also give lie to the vile Western propaganda against the Syrian government. The photo shows Syrians lining up near the Lebanese border to vote.
By turning out in massive numbers for the presidential poll, the people of Syria have exposed the vile propaganda of the West as well as their Arabian puppets, among them the tribal owned network, Al Jazeera. The Takfiri terrorists and their foreign sponsors also stand exposed.
The Syrian people have shown a remarkable resilience in the face of the barbaric onslaught of terrorists armed, financed and instigated from abroad. The people refuse to surrender to mass murderers and cannibals.
Russia and China have again frustrated Western imperialist plans to intervene directly in Syria. By vetoing the Security Council resolution that would have paved the way for referring Syrian officials to the International Criminal Court, the West thought it could disrupt the government of President Bashar al-Asad through the backdoor now that their mercenaries are on the verge of defeat.
Tiny Qatar is trying to punch way above its weight in regional affairs. It has just been revealed through hacked emails that it tried to smuggle chemical weapons into Syria using a British arms contractor. The plot also involved using Russian speaking Ukrainians, Serbs and Croats to implicate Russia as well and thereby create a pretext for direct US attack on Syria.
Terrorist mercenaries have attacked international peace activists visiting Syria. Rockets landed close to their hotel in Damascus. While two people were reported injured, none of them was a peace activist. The group is on the third day of its visit to Syria and hope to meet different groups, including members of the opposition and bring out the correct news about what is underway in Syria.
The US is supplying heavy weapons to the terrorists in Syria. The US military is also training takfiri terrorists in Jordan while claiming to be fighting al-Qaeda type terrorists worldwide.
Syria's cyber warriors calling themselves the Syrian Electronic Army (SEA) have successfully hacked into the US Central Command systems and retrieved hundred of military documents that they promise to make available to the general public soon. There must be many red faces in CENTCOM and Washington. Perhaps Uncle Sam has got a dose of his own medicine.
While the warmongers are beating their drums louder to get the US involved in another destructive war, this time in Syria, peace activists have intensified their efforts. The Syria Solidarity Movement has launched a week long telephone blitz to target members of Congress urging them not to support war. Instead, they are calling for unconditional negotiations to give peace a chance.
After enduring three months of captivity following their kidnapping by Western-Arab-backed terrorists in Syria, 13 nuns and three of their helpers were finally released today. In return, the Syrian government agreed to release 153 women prisoners. The swap was facilitated by Lebanese and Qatari intelligence agencies. The nuns arrived, exhausted in Syria earlier this evening.
