Your editorial gets it exactly right (“Controlled US presidential elections”): it makes little difference to the American people as to who occupies the White House. Both the Republicans and Democrats are slaves of the corporate elite. It is a pity that the Occupy Wall Street Movement did not have much staying power; it fizzled out a year before the elections. If Americans want change, they will have to struggle much harder.
