Toronto Holds North America’s Largest Quds Day Rally Despite Zionist Blackmail And Attempted Disruption

Crescent International

Toronto, June 10, 2018

In keeping with its tradition of hosting the largest Quds Day rally in North America, Toronto once again maintained this position on June 9.

Men, women (young and old) and children from all walks of life and all religions joined this annual event that was held in 800 cities across the world.

As is customary, there were Muslim, Christian and Jewish speakers. A large contingent of rabbis from the group, Netura Kartai was also present. The rabbis did not speak because it was Sabbath but a statement was read out on their behalf.

Among the speakers were Ken Stone (of Jewish origin and with the Hamilton Coalition to Stop the War), Dmitri Lascaris (Human Rights Lawyer), Dr Ali Mallah (long-time peace activist), Dr Ali Tahir of Hamilton and Eva Bartlett (a young courageous Canadian journalist who has spent much time with Palestinian families in Gaza).

While it is customary to start the Quds Day rally from the front of Queen’s Park building, this has not been possible for several years now. Ontario politicians have caved in to Zionist pressure and prevented the rally to start from there.

Kathleen (Loser) Wynne has been in the forefront of pandering to Zionist interests. She was just booted out of office as premier of Ontario in the June 7 provincial election.

Her Liberal Party also lost official status as a political party because it failed to gain the minimum of eight seats in the provincial legislature.

She had joined the ‘Walk for Israel’ rally in support of Israel in May but that failed to garner her any support among the Ontario electorate. She felt no shame in supporting mass murderers and killers of Palestinian children.

Despite these hurdles, rally organizers have assembled in the park immediately to the north although the Zionists have been exerting pressure on Toronto City Council to block that as well. They have been unsuccessful because the park is public space and open to everyone.

There are several Zionist organizations that serve the interests of the racist entity, Israel. Leading this pack of liars is the Centre for Israel Jewish Affairs (CIJA). As the name indicates, this organization has nothing to do with Canada; it is a front for Zionist Israel and acts to defend its atrocious record by preventing exposure of Zionist crimes.

Closely behind are such other groups as BNai Brith. Theoretically, it is supposed to be a human rights organization but it does not believe in the human rights of Palestinians or any justice-loving people.

For this group, only Zionist mass murderers have human rights. Other people are perhaps not human so they cannot have any rights.

And then there is the Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Centre. Obviously with such friends, everybody else is an enemy.

These political blackmailers have their goons represented by the Jewish Defence [Offence] League (JDL). This comprises thugs and gangsters that do not hesitate attacking peaceful protesters.

Last year, several members of JDL, among them one from Toronto, Canada, attacked an elderly Palestinian professor outside the AIPAC meeting in Washington DC. The police charged three of these assailants.

The JDL is banned in the US as a terrorist organization. Its parent organization Kahane Chai is banned in Israel yet JDL operates freely in Canada.

One wonders why Canadian politicians are so spineless to stand up to these thugs and violent extremists that have now recruited violent White anti-Muslim extremists into their ranks as well.

In 2014, JDL thugs assaulted a Muslim woman and man as they walked at the tail-end of a 25,000-strong rally in Toronto. Luckily, the assault was captured on a cell phone camera and the police charged three JDL thugs with assault causing bodily harm.

The Quds Day rally draws attention to the illegal Zionist occupation of Masjid al Aqsa and Palestine.

Such rallies will continue to be held until the racist hate-filled ideology of Zionism is abolished and peace restored to the Holy Land of Palestine.

That day is not far, in sha’Allah as the Zionists dig their own grave by their barbaric conduct.

Boycott of Israel is becoming more widespread. The most recent example was that of the Argentine Football Club refusing to play against Israel.

Soccer superstar Lionel Messi led the boycott motivating his teammates not to play.

The world is gradually beginning to see the ugly face of Zionism. That day is not far when this racist ideology like that of apartheid in South Africa, is abolished.

Until then the struggle and Quds Day marches must continue for the liberation of Palestine.
