Open letter to King Abdullah

Mohammed H. Siddiq

A native of Arabia tells the ailing and aged king Abdullah to quite because his system has only compounded the problems of the people.

I am writing this letter to inform you that citizens of Arabia are hurting by your system of government. Your system is the reason you are separated from Muslims in the holy land. You walk and talk like an emperor and call yourself “king.” You also call the natives of Arabia “Saudis” and treat them as “subjects.” The only Saudis in Arabia are you and family members of Aal Saud, at most 35,000 in all. The rest are good Muslims that came from every corner of the world to live in the holy land. They are not related to you in anyway and are, therefore not “Saudis.”

The dictionary defines the word “subject” as “one who is placed under the authority, dominion, control or influence of another.” How dare you call the natives of Arabia your subjects? They have lived there years before you or your father was born. The holy land is theirs.

Remember what happened to Ceausescu and Saddam. Remember also that Islam demands you treat all Muslims with equality, dignity and respect. Rectify your ways before it is too late.
