Turkey’s protests

Fahad Ali

Protests in Turkey do not deserve the kind of coverage we have given, says a reader. The government has ended the sale of alcoholic drinks and should be supported rather than opposed!

I do not understand why the uprising in Turkey is considered noble or even important enough to be given so much attention. The protesters are people who do not want Turkey to be viewed as one of the good Muslim countries because they demand that the government allow alcoholic drinks to be sold in the streets. I say God bless the government that is trying to cut and stop the selling of the Satanic drinks that are causing our youth to die and act stupid.
