The US political landscape is littered with “think tanks” all peddling the same line: America has a divine right to steal other people’s resources and wealth and indulge in regime change operations.
Those resisting American hegemony are brought to heel by bombs and cruise missiles.
Their leaders are either overthrown (a la Imran Khan in Pakistan) or kidnapped (Nicolas Maduro of Venezuela).
This has been the case since the US emerged as the global hegemon after the Second World War.
Almost all western regimes and the zionist entity were part of this hegemonic cabal.
Given America’s military might, most rulers in the world meekly submitted to US demands.
Along came the Islamic Republic of Iran following the victory of the Islamic Revolution in February 1979, that overthrew an American puppet, the Shah.
Unlike past changes, the Islamic Revolution was not another noisy palace reshuffle.
It was a genuine grassroots movement based on the values of Islam.
They submit to no one except Allah.
This gave them true independence, but it demanded a price: and quite a steep one.
Led by muttaqi leadership, their sacrifices inspired the people to also step forward.
This is most clearly demonstrated in the 40-day war (in reality lasting more than 100 days until the Memorandum of Understanding [MoU] was signed on June 18).
Islamic Iran not only stood to the combined might of the US and zionist Israel but also inflicted a crushing defeat on both.
The US was finally forced to sign the MoU that teturns Iran’s illegally frozen funds, lift sanctions on its oil sales and gives it control of the Strait of Hormuz.
Additionally, an investment fund of $300 billion will be set up to rebuild Iran’s infrastructure that was destroyed by the evil duo.
Another article of the 14-point MoU stipulates that the US will no longer interfere in Iran’s internal affairs.
In other words, no more regime change operations.
The neo-cons, the vast majority of them zionist war criminals, are furious.
Consider this piece by Rebeccah L. Heinrichs, a notorious zionist neo-con who wrote: “The United States will also refrain from ‘meddling’ in Iranian domestic affairs (no more American support and advocacy for the Iranian people).”
She refers to US meddling in Iran’s internal affairs as American “support and advocacy for the Iranian people.”
This piece, reflecting imperial hubris, was written for the National Review and reproduced by the Hudson Institute, a rightwing think tank.
How would these warmongers react if Russia or China were to launch a campaign against ICE agents targeting Latino immigrants?
There is much anger even in the broader US population against the criminal acts of ICE agents.
Ms Heinrichs is also upset that “The MoU doesn’t say much about the Iranian nuclear program.
“It says that Iran’s nuclear program must ‘maintain the status quo,’ a status that nobody really knows the details of since there have been no inspections since Operations Midnight Hammer and Epic Fury badly damaged Iran’s nuclear infrastructure and eliminated its top nuclear scientists.”
Clearly, legality is not something that bothers this zionist warmonger.
Attacking Iran’s nuclear facilities is not only against international law, the UN Charter and the nuclear non-proliferation treaty, it is a war crime.
This zionist apologist is perfectly happy with that.
Would she be OK if Iran were to carry out strikes against zionist Israel’s nuclear facilities?
One can be certain that the entire neo-con cabal would be screaming and hopping mad.
They would demand that Iran be punished.
Western regimes would be braying for Iran’s blood.
The fact, however, is that the US and Israel have been defeated.
This unfortunately is a reality that the neo-cons refuse to accept.
They still maintain the fiction that the US “won the war”.
They refuse to accept the fact that US military bases in the region have been wiped out.
This is even admitted by the Wall Street Journal, CNN and the Washington Post.
Doesn’t Ms Heinrichs and her fellow neo-cons read these media outlets?
What about a poll conducted in the zionist entity that found 92% of Israelis believe they lost the war with Iran?
Don’t the neo-cons believe their own zionist mouthpieces anymore?
Perhaps, truth is too painful for them to accept.
They want the US to be in a state of perpetual war to serve zionist interests.
The vast majority of Americans are sick and tired of waging wars on behalf of the illegal squatters’ colony in Occupied Palestine.
