Mass murderer Sharon dead, at last!

Crescent International

One of the most evil persons ever to walk on the face of earth, Ariel Sharon, has died, at last. He was 85 and had been in a coma since January 2006 after suffering multiple strokes. He was a mass murderer and went to his grave with the blood of tens of thousands innocent Palestinians, Lebanese and Egyptians on his hands. May he receive punishment commensurate with his vile deeds.

Ariel Sharon, better known as the Butcher of Beirut and a mass murderer of Palestinian people, is dead. His death didn’t come sooner although for many his vegetative state since January 2006 was a befitting punishment in this world for the many crimes he committed against innocent people.

Undoubtedly the occupants of Hell—Hitler, Churchill and Stalin among them—are anxiously awaiting the arrival of this mass murderer in the lowest depths. For his numerous crimes, he deserves not only condemnation but also unceasing punishment in Hell. There is no escape from there as there was from this world, through death.

After suffering two strokes, one in December 2005 and soon thereafter another on January 4, 2006, he went into a coma and lay in a vegetative state in a Tel Aviv hospital where he died today, at the age of 85.

His crimes are so egregious and so numerous that it would be impossible to enumerate them all. But one crime that stands out above all others is his sending of Christian Phalangist militias into the Palestinian refugee camps of Sabra and Shatilla from September 12 to 14, 1982. The Phalangists massacred thousands of Palestinian men, women and children in cold blood. Even their animals were not spared.

The Phalange terrorists worked at their gruesome task day and night with the Israeli army providing night flares to facilitate their horrible crimes against innocent people.

The attack on Sabra and Shatilla refugee camps came in the wake of the Israeli onslaught on Lebanon in June 1982. Palestinian fighters led by Yasir Arafat’s Fatah faction were unable to put up a credible fight and most of their commanders fled from the scene.

Under a US-brokered deal, all Palestinians fighters were allowed to leave Lebanon for Tunisia leaving the civilian Palestinian population at the tender mercies of the zionists.

Sharon was Israel's defence minister at the time and had planned the invasion of Lebanon and the subsequent massacre at Sabra and Shatilla. As a result of his war crimes, he earned the title, the “Butcher of Beirut.”

Given the Zionist stranglehold on the US political system, far from charging him with war crimes, Sharon continued his political activities going on to become Israel’s prime minister in 2001. Only the 2006 stroke ended his political career.

His other crimes included the massacre of Egyptian soldiers that had already surrendered to the Zionist invading army in the 1956 war. Again, on Sharon’s orders, at least 1,000 Egyptian soldiers were shot dead in the Sinai Desert.

He was also the architect of an aggressive settlement policy in which Zionist squatters occupied—and continue to this day—choicest Palestinian land leaving the Palestinians locked up in isolated Bantustan-like pockets denied access to their farms or even to water.

Sharon was also the mastermind of the so-called Separation Wall, accurately dubbed the Apartheid Wall that the International Court of Justice described as illegal under International Law. And in a deliberately provocative move, Sharon had barged into the compound of Masjid al Aqsa with a phalanx of bodyguards on September 29, 2000 triggering the second Palestinian Intifadah that led to the deaths of thousands of innocent Palestinians.

With such a gory record, both US President Barack Obama and British Prime Minister David Cameron still heaped wholesome praise on the man they described as a “leader who dedicated his life to the state of Israel” (Obama) and as “one of the most significant figures in Israeli history” who “took brave and controversial decisions in pursuit of peace…” (Cameron).

Perhaps slaughtering a large number of civilians was all in “pursuit of peace”. The peace Sharon offered to the Palestinians was that of the graveyard.

May the All Mighty and Just Lord give Sharon the punishment he richly deserves so that the souls of the countless Palestinians and Lebanese victims would rest in peace, at last.
