Zionist forces were backed by American mercenaries flown into Israel specifically for such missions.
Hamas’s military wing, al-Qassam Brigades said the zionists attempted to enter the Gaza Strip last night from two fronts: Beit Hanoun (in the north) and east Bureij (in the center).
In both theatres, the resistance fighters inflicted heavy casualties on the invaders.
Abu Obaida, a spokesperson for al-Qassam Brigades said, in one operation, Hamas fighters destroyed three enemy tanks and vehicles in the north.
Several zionist invaders were killed; those injured barely managed to flee the battlefield.
Prior to launching the ground incursion, unlike the massive invasion zionist politicians have threatened for weeks, Gaza’s telecommunications systems were destroyed.
The Israeli military claimed that its fighter jets had struck 150 “underground targets” in northern Gaza and killed “several” Hamas fighters during the bombing.
The occupation army claimed the targeted sites included “tunnels, underground combat spaces and additional underground infrastructure.”
True to their barbaric nature, Israeli airstrikes destroyed hundreds of buildings overnight.
A spokesman for the Gaza Civil Defense, Mahmud Bassal told the French news agency, AFP that “Hundreds of buildings and houses were completely destroyed and thousands of other homes were damaged.”
He added that the intense bombardments had “changed the landscape” of northern Gaza.
Israeli war criminals have threatened to turn Gaza into a tent city, meaning that they intend to destroy every building in the tiny enclave.
Following the Israeli attack, the Qassam Brigades announced, “We are confronting an Israeli ground incursion in Beit Hanoun and east Bureij and violent engagements are taking place on the ground.”
Doug McGregor, a retired US army colonel and analyst told Tucker Carlson in an interview that Israeli and American forces that went into Gaza last week, “were shot to pieces.”
In another interview with Carlson, Col. McGregor said that the world was on the verge of World War Three which the madmen in Washington and Tel Aviv were pushing for.
Benjamin Netanyahu, the zionist war criminal, who is leading this genocidal war against Gaza is prepared to do anything to save his thick skin.

Israel has bombed hospitals, apartment buildings, schools and bakeries in order to destroy Gaza.
The bombing and destruction of Al-Ahli Hospital on October 17 resulted in the murder of nearly 500 Palestinian civilians, most of them children.
Israel is now threatening al-Shifa Hospital demanding that medical staff vacate the facility.
Doctors and nurses have refused to leave the hospital because their patients, especially those on life support have nowhere to go.
The death toll in Gaza since the start of Israeli aggression has surpassed 7,400.
Of these 3,500 are children.
Upwards of 20,500 are wounded.
While Israel is quite capable of murdering a very large number of Palestinian civilians as is evident from its barbarous onslaught on Gaza, it has failed to achieve its military or political objectives.
Hamas and other resistance forces in Gaza are ready to confront Israeli attacks with “full force”.
Describing the Israeli military as a “defeated army”, the Palestinian resistance movement said the Netanyahu regime would not achieve any victory despite his all-out war on Gaza.
“The fighters of al-Qassam brigades and all the Palestinian resistance forces are completely ready to confront Israel’s aggression with full force and frustrate its incursions,” Hamas said in its statement.
Once the war is over, Netanyahu will end up in prison for his criminal conduct.
