The zionist rulers’ celebrations by assassinating two prominent resistance leaders will be “short-lived”, Hizbullah Secretary General Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah said.
This will soon turn to “bitter tears”.
He was addressing mourners at the funeral held on August 1 in Beirut for Hizbullah senior commander Fouad Shukr,.
In addition to commander Shukr’s assassination, Seyyed Nasrallah was referring to the martyrdom of Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran on July 31.
In quick succession, the zionist regime of Benjamin Netanyahu carried out two terrorist acts in two capital cities—Beirut and Tehran.
This is a major escalation by the zionist war criminal Netanyahu and his neo-Nazi allies and retaliation has become inevitable.
Seyyed Nasrallah paid rich tribute to the martyrs Ismail Haniyeh and Fouad Shukr.
He also extended sincere condolences to the family of the Palestinian martyr, and indeed all the families of martyrs in Gaza.
Hizbullah commander Shukr was martyred when Israel fired a missile on a building in Haret Hreik, in Beirut’s southern suburb on July 30.
Seyyed Nasrallah said that it was a civilian building full of families, men, women, and children.
“This aggression resulted in the martyrdom of seven individuals: three women… two young children… an Iranian brother, Milad Bedi; and finally, martyr commander Sayed Fouad Shukr.”
There were also dozens of wounded in the zionist terrorist attack.
The Hizbullah chief also highlighted the martyred commander’s role in resistance activities and how he not only acquired equipment for resistance fighters but also trained several generations of them.
He had even served in Bosnia during the Serbs’ genocidal war on Muslims in the Balkans, Seyyed Nasrallah revealed.
He categorically rejected the zionist allegation that the resistance movement had launched the missile that killed 12 children in Majdal Sham on July 27, that Israel advanced as a pretext.
He pointed out that those killed were not Israeli but Syrian citizens and belonged to the Druze community.
There was nothing that Hizbullah would have gained from such an attack.
Unlike the zionists who habitually lie, Hizbullah chief always says what he means and means what he says.
He has never resorted to lies or obfuscations.
That is the speciality of the zionists.
One need to look no further than Netanyahu’s speech to US Congress on July 24.
Every word he uttered was a lie.
That, however, is not surprising. Lying is in the zionists’ genes.
Referring to commander Shukr’s assassination, Seyyed Nasrallah said: “This is not just an assassination but an act of aggression.”
He went on to elaborate that the attack was carried out on the southern suburbs of the capital [Beirut].
A civilian building was targeted, not a military base or barracks; civilians including women and children were killed as well as a major resistance commander.
“Let them rejoice. Laugh a little, for you will weep a lot,” Seyyed Nasrallah said about the zionists.
“For you do not know what red lines you have crossed, and what kinds of aggressions you have perpetrated, and how far you have gone.
“So, I say, for the enemy and friends to know, that we have now entered a new phase on all fronts of support, a phase different from the previous one. The escalation will depend on the enemy’s behavior and reactions.
“Today, it is up to them to await the wrath of the honorable men of the (Muslim) Community, the vengeance of the honorable men of the (Muslim) Community, and the retaliation of the honorable men of the (Muslim) Community, in retribution for all this blood shed unjustly.”
“As far as we’re concerned, to all those around the world who contact us to debate, call, or talk, they must understand that the Resistance can only respond.
“This is decided and not open to discussion.
“All discussions are merely attempts to minimize and downplay the aggression against us, Lebanon, the southern suburbs of Beirut, its inhabitants, and the Resistance.
“The enemy and those who support the enemy should anticipate our inevitable response, insha’Allah.
“There will be no discussion, no debate; there are only days, nights, and the battlefield between us and you.”
If the zionists and their American enablers are nervous, they ought to be.
The zionists have crossed so many red lines that retaliation has become inevitable.
And it will be nothing like they have seen or experienced before, insha’Allah.
