The increasing frequency of zionist attacks on Masjid al-Aqsa and the Haram al-Sharif compound is extremely worrying. Muslims must mobilize worldwide to prevent the zionists from implementing their criminal agenda. Masjid al Aqsa, shown in the picture, should not be confused with the golden Dome of the Rock that is also located on Haram al-Sharif.

Zionist attacks on Masjid al-Aqsa and the compound housing it, Al-Haram al-Sharif, have become more frequent. After Juma Prayers today, heavily armed Zionist soldiers once again violated the sanctity of the Haram al-Sharif by invading it with their filthy boots and guns and attacked Palestinian worshippers.
Zionist occupation troops fired stun grenades and beat up those they could lay their hands on. The worshippers threw stones at them in self-defence while chanting “We sacrifice our blood and souls for you Aqsa.”
Several Palestinians were wounded after savage beatings at the hands of the Zionist invaders.
The imam of the mosque, Shaykh Mohamed Hussain, condemned the violence at one of Islam's holiest sites. “It is a clear violation which is rejected by all the religions and international laws,” he said.
“It is a violation against al-Aqsa mosque and the Israeli authorities are responsible, because they order their soldiers to violently raid the mosque. They are responsible for all that has happened in Al-Aqsa mosque.”
True to their nature, the zionists tried to pin the blame on Palestinians who were doing no more than defending themselves and their sacred site.
The zionists have made no secret of their intentions to destroy the Aqsa Mosque to build their so-called “Third Temple” on the site instead.
As recently as January 24, Uri Ariel, Israel’s Minister for Housing and Construction openly declared that the zionists intend to destroy Masjid al-Aqsa and build the Temple Mount there.
The zionists’ frequent raids are intended to create an environment in which they will not only occupy the Haram al-Sharif but also destroy it in order to fulfill their evil plans.
The question is: what will the Muslim world do? There is no hope from any of the illegitimate regimes in the Middle East. They are in fact partners in Zionist crimes. The responsibility for defending Masjid al-Aqs and the Haram al-Sharif falls on the Muslim masses, the Islamic movement and the muttaqi ulama.
They must take urgent steps to prevent the zionists from implementing their criminal plans.
