The Rohingyas’ suffering is heartbreaking. In the absence of concerted international action, the Myanmar regime has gotten away with ethnic cleansing and genocide. Allowing them to return home in the absence of a credible protection force is not realistic as awaiting them are the nonexistent mercies of Buddhist vigilantes and Myanmar’s genocidal troops.
