EU labelling of Hizbullah politically motivated

Editor

The European Union’s designation of the military wing of Hizbullah as a “terrorist” organization is a political move that has no relation to ground realities in Lebanon.

The European Union (EU) has once again shown it is a US-Zionist puppet. On July 23, the EU branded the military wing of Hizbullah, “terrorist,” while hypocritically claiming it would continue to deal with its political wing. The move was not only immediately denounced by Hizbullah but also Iran as well as the Lebanese president and prime minister.

Using diplomatic language, Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati said “We will follow up on the issue through diplomatic channels, while we wish the EU countries had carried out a careful reading of the facts and sought out more information.” This was as close as he could come to say that the EU was dead wrong.

Iran’s Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi was more forthright in his comments and said the decision made “under the pressure of certain EU members, runs contrary to all political and legal principles, and is shocking and unacceptable.”

Under pressure from the US and Zionist Israel, Britain spearheaded the EU move using the spurious allegation — that is, a charge without proof — that Hizbullah was behind the Burgas bus bombing in July 2012 in Bulgaria. Even the Bulgarian authorities have not blamed Hizbullah for the blast. What the EU decision shows is that it is a lapdog for Zionist pressure and a whore that can be screwed for money.

The racist Zionist entity, however, will not last too long. It is on its deathbed and will soon be consigned to the dustbin of history.
