Dealing With The Menace Of Zionist Racism

Ayman Ahmed

Since a new, even more extremist regime was cobbled together in zionist Israel on December 29, 2022, attacks on Palestinians have escalated. This was expected. The neo-Nazis that occupy important posts in the Israeli cabinet have made no secret of their hatred for the Palestinians.

The anti-Palestinian hate-brigade comprises such notorious terrorists as Itamar Ben-Gvir, Bezalel Smotrich, Avi Maoz and Likud member Yariv Levin. At the top of this dung heap sits Benjamin Netanyahu who faces charges of fraud and other crimes.

Levin holds the Justice Minister portfolio in Netanyahu’s cabinet. On his boss’s urging, Levin has said the new regime will introduce “judicial reforms”, essentially gutting the powers of the judges. Since Netanyahu faces criminal charges, he wants to divest the judges of their powers to try crimes committed by politicians. He also wants to appoint judges through the Knesset, thereby politicizing judicial appointments.

The move has led to widespread protests by Israelis but Netanyahu has dismissed them. Other Israeli politicians have warned of a civil war, or a “fratricidal war” between Jews. Nothing can be ruled out in the Israeli snake pit where these vipers would easily bite each other were it not for their extreme hatred of the Palestinians.

Opposition to the so-called judicial reforms has come not only from former senior generals such as Ehud Barak, Amos Gilad, Gadi Eisenkot, and Moshe Ya’alon, but also from a Law Professor and former President of the Supreme Court. Judge Aharon Barak warned that the legal changes the Netanyahu regime is contemplating will reduce Israel to the status of Poland and Hungary, and it will cause the outbreak of a “fratricidal war”.

Judge Barak described the regime’s new measures as a “scandal” that will lead to the destruction of the Supreme Court, because it destroys the concept of separation of powers. Not surprisingly, it led to a political storm with the zionist fascists attacking his statements as “dangerous”. For whom, one wonders.

Let us return to Netanyahu’s fascist allies that now occupy important posts in the new cabinet. Ben Gvir leads the fascist party, Otzma Yehudit. It means ‘Jewish Power’. Mentioning the two words, ‘Jewish Power’ anywhere in the rest of the world would immediately result in the pro-Israel lobby pouncing on the person branding him an ‘anti-Semite’ yet in zionist Israel, the party proudly carries this title and is now part of the ruling coalition.

The Jewish Power party leader, Ben-Gvir was previously convicted of incitement to racism and supporting a terrorist organisation. As national security minister in the new cabinet, he entered the Aqsa Mosque compound in occupied Al-Quds/East Jerusalem on January 3 in a move Palestinians called a “deliberate provocation”. He led a noisy group of pushy squatters onto the sacred compound.

Two weeks later, the squatters were back. True to their obnoxious nature, they drank alcohol inside Masjid al Aqsa and one even urinated there. They know that such filthy practices are forbidden on the sacred compound but they perpetrate them to demonstrate their arrogance and to insult the Palestinians and Muslims worldwide.

Even before he had joined the Netanyahu-led cabinet, Ben-Gvir had stated that he would crack down hard on the Palestinians. A member of his Jewish Power party, brigadier Zvika Fogel in an interview with UK’s Channel 4 News aired on December 9, said that Israel had been “too merciful” towards the Palestinians. He dismissed “the concept of proportionality,” and said “If it is one Israeli mother crying, or a thousand Palestinian mothers crying, then a thousand Palestinian mothers will cry.”

When asked by the presenter if this policy was racist, Fogel said: “We are too merciful. It’s time for us to stop being so. It has nothing to do with racism.” While Israel’s racists are galloping toward gobbling more Palestinian territories, the UN General Assembly passed resolution 77/400 on December 30, 2022, to request an advisory opinion of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) relating to the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territory. The vote was supported by 87 members while 26 countries among them Israel, the US and Britain opposed it. The ICJ on January 20 confirmed it had officially received a request from the UN General Assembly to give an advisory opinion on the legal consequences of Israel’s occupation of the Palestinian territories.

The ICJ rulings are legally binding but it has no enforcement mechanism so even if it rules in favour of the Palestinians, it cannot be implemented. In July 2004, the ICJ had ruled that Israel’s separation wall cutting through Palestinian villages is illegal but the zionist state with backing from the US simply ignored it.

While the long-oppressed Palestinians may find some solace in the ICJ’s ruling whenever it is delivered, nothing concrete will come out of it. The Palestinians have to keep in mind that what has been taken from them by force, will only be retrieved by force. The zionists will not relinquish the land they have stolen. It is not in the nature of thieves.

Just look at North America and Australia. European settlers in these lands perpetrated genocides against the Indigenous peoples and wiped them out, leaving them in few pockets of reservations. Today they hold memorials and reconciliation conferences but the tens of millions that were wiped out cannot be brought back. Even the compensation being offered is so paltry that it is derisory.

Palestinians cannot hope for any justice from any of the international bodies, however well-intentioned. The reason is that the powers that control these bodies—the US, Europe etc—are totally committed to the zionist monstrosity that they created in the heartland of Islam. Nor can the Palestinians rely on the treacherous Arabian rulers.

So, what options do the Palestinians have? Their true friends are the Resistance Front that comprises Islamic Iran, Hizbullah, Hamas, Islamic Jihad and the Ansarallah in Yemen. Iraq’s Hashd al-Sh‘abi as well as Syria can also be counted as allies. The Palestinians must intensify their resistance struggle. The Resistance Front must step up its support for the Palestinians so that the racist ideology of zionism can be defeated and banished from the face of the earth.
