American senators are in the pocket of the Zionist lobby but they have just proved they are also dumb. In an attempt to "teach" the Iranian leadership how the US Constitution works, they made the preposterous claim that the senate "ratifies" treaties. It does not; only the president of the United State has the authority to ratify a treaty by signing it. Who elected these "geniuses" to the Senate?

American senators are well known Zionist stooges. They have just proved they are also dumb and ill-mannered.
In an attempt to derail the P5+1 group of countries’ talks with Iran over its peaceful nuclear program, 47 Republican Senators led by Mitch McConnell of Kentucky sent a letter to the leaders of the Islamic Republic.
In it they claim any deal with Iran must have their approval.
Not true.
While claiming they were trying to be helpful, the senators actually exposed their own ignorance. They wrote the Iranians "may not fully understand our constitutional system".
So what did these geniuses want to teach the Iranian leadership? They said the Senate ratifies treaties. It does not; members of the Senate only give advice and consent.
It is the president of the United States that signs off on any treaty. Even bills passed by the Senate after being approved by the House of Representatives land on the president’s desk.
If he rejects the bill, it goes back to Congress where two-thirds of its members must approve it before it can become law.
Who elected these geniuses to the Senate? Pat Buchanan, a Republican presidential contender and speechwriter for former US President Ronald Reagan, calls the US Congress Zionist occupied territory.
Nobody has been able to improve on this definition but the senators have proved this by writing a letter to the Iranian leaders that seems to be inspired by Benjamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister of the Zionist entity.
He was invited by the Senate leader John Boehner to address the US Congress without even informing the president.
Elizabeth Cobb Hoffman called the congressional invitation to Netanyahu “unconstitutional.” The Zionist ruler addressed a joint session of congress on March 3.
Nearly 60 Democratic congressmen plus Vice President Joe Biden and John Kerry boycotted Netanyahu’s speech. President Obama dismissed the speech as offering nothing new.
American University's Stephen Vladeck, a professor of law, called the senators' letter to Iran not only "unprecedented in the annals of American history" but perhaps illegal as well.
Professor Vladeck wrote on Lawfare, that the Logan Act forbids Americans from corresponding with foreign governments "with intent to influence", as reported by the BBC (March 10).
The letter has not been well received in the US as evident from comments on social media. The New York Daily News denounced the senators with a splashing headline as “traitors.”
Perhaps it might have added, “dumb” as well.
In the mid-nineties, the late Senator Jesse Helms had invited then Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto to address the US Congress.
Senator Helms introduced her as the “Prime Minister of India”! Ms Bhutto would probably have been pleased but Helms, another senator from the South, proved how ill informed he was.
Will the senators’ letter influence Iran or Obama from not going ahead with the nuclear talks and perhaps an eventual deal? Highly unlikely but it would not be for lack of trying by the geniuses that occupy the senate chamber.
