Zionist Israel has escalated its criminal acts by launching multiple strikes against Iran.
According to reports from Tehran, the commander of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC), Major General Hossein Salami, has been martyred in the early Friday attack by Israeli air force.
“Several other senior IRGC commanders and nuclear scientists are also among the martyred in the large-scale Israeli attack in Tehran and other provinces across the country,” Press TV reported.
The zionists targeted the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps’ headquarters building in Tehran that resulted in General Salami’s martyrdom.
Among other casualties are veteran nuclear scientists Mohammad-Mehdi Tehranchi and Fereydoon Abbasi.

In addition to Tehran, loud explosions were also heard in different parts of Iran.
The country’s air defense systems were on full alert with some incoming missiles intercepted.
The TV noted that Iran suspended all flights at its main Imam Khomeini International airport.
The zionists also targeted Natanz city in Iran’s central province of Isfahan, where a key nuclear site is located.
The indicted war criminal, Benjamin Netanyahu said after the attacks, “We targeted Iran’s main uranium enrichment site in Natanz and Iranian nuclear and military officials in Tehran.”
“This operation will continue as long as necessary, until we complete the mission,” Netanyahu added.
Meanwhile, expecting massive Iranian retaliation, officials in Tel Aviv ordered citizens into bomb shelters and declared a state of emergency.
What form this will take is difficult to predict at this time but given that other provinces including Tabriz, Kermanshah, Lorestan, and Hamadan were also targeted by the zionist war criminals, means Iran is left with no choice but to hit back.
Several residential buildings in Tehran were also hit resulting in numerous civilian casualties.
On June 8, Iran had announced a huge haul of intelligence on Israeli nuclear facilities as well as personal details of Israeli politicians including Netanyahu himself.
In the past, informed observers have suggested that Iran’s retaliation could take the form of a massive strike on Israeli military facilities at Damona as well as its chemical weapons factories in Haifa.
If a large number of hypersonic missiles are fired, neither the Iron Dome nor David’s Sling would be able to intercept.
Even if some of them get though, they would cause considerable damage.
The Americans, meanwhile are trying to distance themselves from the zionist crimes.
American Secretary of State Marco Rubio said the US was not involved although they had informed Washington that they had to take this “preemptive” step.
Rubio said Iran should not hit US military personnel or assets in the region.
Israel’s crimes are very serious and it would be unrealistic to assume that Iran would not retaliate.
