Incredible as it may sound, one can begin to understand Donald Trump’s frustration that began with his angry tweet fired at Pakistan at 7:12 am on January 1 from Mar-a-Lago.
The Donald was at his Florida golf club resort and had hoped he would have a wonderful New Year bash. But as bad luck would have it, Melania had a terrible ‘headache’ so Trump woke up angry and frustrated!
In any case, Melania knows Trump is like a non-performing bank loan. It is better that Donald is frustrated than Melania!
Returning to Washington on January 2, he seemed to have overcome the piled-up New Year non-performing frustration and was upbeat when Stephen Banner, his former campaign strategist and one-time advisor, threw a monkey wrench in his plans.
In Michael Wolff’s new book, Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House, Bannon has spilled a lot of beans about the illegitimate president (Trump did not win the popular vote!), his family and the cut-throat battles raging inside the White (Black) House.
Based on information provided by Bannon, Wolff depicts Trump as a buffoon (no argument there) who doesn’t read (this is well known), and can’t settle on political priorities, again no brainer.
Katie Walsh, formerly a deputy chief of staff, is quoted in the book as saying that dealing with Trump is “like trying to figure out what a child wants”. While Walsh has since disputed this account, others (Republican Senator Bob Corker, for instance) have described the Trump White House as an “adult daycare centre”!
Bannon is even more scathing in describing Trump’s daughter Ivanka calling her “dumb as a brick.” This is unfair; at least she is pretty. In any case, blondes are not supposed to be smart. Even Bannon should know that; both he and Trump are also blonde!
If Trump is a total dunce, Ivanka is dumb, what does that make Bannon?
Wolff quotes Sam Nunberg, a former campaign aide who was ultimately fired, trying to explain the Constitution to the president. “I got as far as the Fourth Amendment,” according to Nunberg “before his finger is pulling down on his lip and his eyes are rolling back in his head.”
Bannon describes a Trump Tower meeting during the campaign between his son Donald Trump Jr.; son-in-law Jared Kushner, and a Russian lawyer as “treasonous” and “unpatriotic.”
Angry at these revelations, Trump’s lawyer fired a letter to Bannon on January 3 telling him to “cease and desist”. The cat, however, is out of the bag.
In his frustration, Trump said Bannon is not only out of a job when he was fired last August from the White House has also “lost his mind”.
Welcome to the adult daycare centre at the nuthouse (aka the White [Black] House).
