The Saudis and their hangers-on as well as Hamas have lost in the new emerging reality of the Muslim East as a confident Islamic Iran forges ahead.
The brutal war imposed on Syria by the imperialist-Zionist-Wahhabi cabal has run its course. President Bashar al-Asad is still in power three years on. The Saudi-inspired takfiri terror is the last gasp of a dying ideology that will cost its financiers dearly. Muslims are waking up to this reality.
Syria’s war has also exposed the fickle nature of not only the Arabian regimes but also some movements that were expected to conduct their affairs in a more sophisticated manner. Hamas has been a big loser in taking sides in the Syrian conflict and betting on the wrong horse. It is not convincing for Hamas to claim it took a principled stand. There is nothing principled about joining the Saudi-Qatari front and abandoning Iran/Hizbullah/Syria.
Islamic Iran is moving confidently to forge new alliances in the region. There is a beeline of leaders and diplomats making its way to Tehran to strike new relations. Hamas is left out in the cold due to the (unfortunately) opportunistic choices of its leaders.
