Parliament packed with lotas, donkeys and thieves oust Imran Khan as Prime Minister

Crescent International

Imran Khan ousted from power by an assortment of criminals, gangsters, rapists and thugs working at the behest of the US

Updated 4:05 pm (Toronto Time, Sunday April 10).

Shehbaz Sharif and Shah Mehmood Qureshi filed nomination papers for the position of prime minister today. Voting will take place on Monday April 11, the day Shehbaz Sharif and his son were supposed to appear before the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) relating to charges of $3 billion money-laundering case. How can an indicted criminal become prime minister of Pakistan? Those that are bringing him to power must answer.

Meanwhile, Fawad Chaudhry, former information minister, announced that if Shehbaz Sharif is appointed prime minister, all 155 members of their party, Pakistan Tehreek-e Insaf (PTI) will resign their assembly seats.

Already, hundreds of thousands of people joined pro-PTI rallies in Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Sahiwal, Sialkot, Gujranwala and many other cities across Pakistan as well as overseas in Dubai, London, Washington DC and Toronto.

Pakistani masses are on the move. They need to sweep away these American agents and corrupt politicians into the dustbin of history.

Pakistani lotas, donkeys and mega-thieves finally got their wish in the early hours of Sunday April 10 (local time) when 174 members of the National Assembly voted in favour of a motion to oust Imran Khan as Prime Minister.

The ruling Tehrik-e Insaf Party’s (PTI) MNAs had walked out of the chambers after Asad Qaiser stepped down as Assembly speaker.

For several weeks starting on March 8, high political drama was underway in which all the criminal elements ganged together to oust the only prime minister in recent history whose hands were clean.

Imran Khan had campaigned on promises to end corruption and create a “Naya” (New) Pakistan.

The entrenched powers in the country were determined to frustrate his plans.

Ending corruption would have meant bringing to an end the plunder that the venal characters led by the Sharif and the Bhutto-Zardari dynasties were involved in for decades.

Pakistan’s political system is rotten to the core.

It is gripped by land mafias and other assorted criminals who treat corruption as their birth right and state resources as family fortune to be used at their whim.

The latest political drama started on March 8, a day after a US State department official, one Mr. Donald Lu (pronounced loo, as in toilet) told the Pakistani ambassador in Washington that unless the no-confidence motion against Imran Khan succeeds, there can be no improvement in US-Pakistan relations.

Imran Khan and his associates have accused the US of orchestrating his ouster.

Is it a coincidence that a day after Mr. Lu made these insulting demands, the opposition parties in Pakistan presented the no-confidence motion in parliament?

How did Mr. Lu know that the no-confidence motion would be presented to parliament in Pakistan the next day?

Opposition parties led by the Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N), People’s Party (PPP), MQM-P and MMA to which belongs another venal character, Maulana Fazlur Rahman, came together and even bought over about two dozen members of PTI to join them in this grand conspiracy.

The Opposition parties have no ideological affinity with each other except that they are working on an American agenda to oust Imran Khan because he wanted to pursue an independent foreign policy.

This is something the US does not accept, especially for a country like Pakistan.

Opposition parties are like wolves. They don’t trust each other either but they found a common enemy to pounce on. They want to keep Pakistan the slave of the US.

Pakistan’s tragedy is that the entire system is corrupt whether it is the politicians, the judiciary, police force or the bureaucracy.

Presiding over this filth is the all-powerful military whose top brass is not clean either.

They pull the strings from behind the scenes and even storm the corridors of power when they feel that politicians are not able to manage affairs to their liking.

Not surprisingly, Pakistan’s military has ruled the country for longer than civilians.

It may be wrong to write-off Imran Khan.

From the reaction of the people, he has much support among the masses.

What is uncertain is whether the powers that be (the military) would allow him to return to power because he wants to pursue an independent foreign policy while the Pakistani military has deep links with the US military.

Even when US-Pakistan relations were in the dumps, the Pakistani military continued to maintain close ties with their counterparts in the US.

It is now for the people of Pakistan to come out in strength in the streets and prevent the criminals masquerading as political leaders and take them to task.

They should make it impossible for Shehbaz Sharif (out on bail on corruption charges), Asif Ali Zardari (also facing corruption charges), his mukhannas offspring Bilawal Zardari who is not sure of his/her gender, and Fazloo diesel to have any peace.

These criminals and their cohorts, chamchas and hangers-on should be hounded out of their palatial homes and dragged into the streets to face the bar of public opinion.

Pakistan needs a revolution, not an in-house change demanded by the US and orchestrated by the military and executed through corrupt judges.

It is for the people of Pakistan to make this choice.

History is relentless; it does not wait for or spare anyone.
