People in Arabia continue to suffer one family rule. When one old man dies, he is replaced by another old man. The people are denied their basic rights.
It only happens in the Kingdom of “Saudi” Arabia. An old, sick and semiliterate king dies and in less than 24 hours, another old, sick and ill-natured amir named Salman ascends the throne with complete disregard to the wishes of the citizens of Arabia, and the Shari‘ah he claims to uphold.
This native son of Arabia puts the blame squarely on ‘Abd al-‘Aziz ibn Saud, the founder of the Kingdom of “Saudi” Arabia. He told his children and grandchildren that everything that walks and grows on it is their property including the people. Yes, you read it right. And he devilishly named the inhabitants of the Arabian Peninsula “Saudis.” ‘Abd al-‘Aziz was a bedouin and had never set foot inside a classroom.
My message here and now is that the 70-, 80- and 90-year-old members of Bani Saud should retire and give a chance to the young, healthy and educated men and women in the country to take over and tackle the difficult and complicated task of running the government. May Allah (swt) bless Arabia and its people.
