The global power balance is changing rapidly. The unipolar world is dead; America can no longer dictate to the world. America can cause massive destruction but it has lost the ability to attract people. Other players have emerged, notably China, Russia and Iran. This is evident in places like Iraq and Syria where US plots have gone awry.
Syria in fact was the most important theatre where the US was shown as a giant with feet of clay. The plot to undermine and, therefore, destroy the Islamic Republic of Iran has been defeated. Even long-standing US ally and NATO member Turkey has realized this and is readjusting its policies.
Welcome to the world in which America’s client regimes are also likely to go the way of the godfather.
