Learning from the geese

Valdo Orozco

Unity seems to elude Muslims but can they not learn from the geese and how they help each other?

When a goose flaps its wings, it provides uplift for the bird flying directly behind it. Flying as a flock in “V” formation adds 81% greater flying distance. The geese take turns at the front. If one falls behind or down, another joins it until it recovers to rejoin the flock or dies. If we the Muslim Ummah were as smart as the geese, we would work off each other’s strengths and get much further ahead in the same direction. It saddens me to see we do not build on this. If only we would learn from the geese!
