What kind of people will celebrate the cold-blooded murder of women and babies, some of them burned alive, that were cowering in tents for elusive safety?
If you guessed Israeli zionist Jews, you are right although in the US, it would soon become illegal to say that.
On Sunday night (May 26), Israeli war planes fired missiles at the Tal al-Sultan neighbourhood in western Rafah.
Hundreds of thousands of Palestinians have been forced to take shelter in Gaza’s southern city, Rafah, after the zionist war criminals drove them out of their homes elsewhere in Gaza.
The zionists do this deliberately.
They herd the Palestinians into crowded areas called “safe zones” and then bomb them.
There are no “safe zones” in Gaza, according to UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator Martin Griffiths.
When news of the latest carnage provoked international outrage, Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu sought refuge behind the lame excuse that it was a “tragic mistake”.
“Whether the attack was a war crime or a ‘tragic mistake’, for the people of Gaza, there is no debate. What happened last night (May 26) was the latest—and possibly most cruel— abomination,” Griffiths said in a statement.
The May 26 attack killed 50 people and wounded more than 200 others, almost all of them women and children.
Many children were beheaded in the horrific carnage unleashed by the zionist war criminals.
Some were burnt alive as fire engulfed the tents.
Did the zionists’ feel any remorse for such barbaric acts?
Perish the thought.
Instead, as the UK-based Middle East Eye (MEE) reported, “In Israel… prominent figures and members of the public viewed the massacre and the fire as the perfect way to celebrate a religious holiday.”
The MEE report went on: “Sunday was Lag BaOmer, a Jewish holiday where people across Israel light bonfires as a representation of spiritual light brought by Shimon bar Yochai, a revered second-century rabbi.”
Lag BaOmer is usually celebrated with thousands of people lighting bon fires at the rabbi’s grave.
Security concerns prevented a large gathering this year.
Instead, the racist zionists “celebrated” the event by posting images of the Gaza slaughter.
“Yinon Magal, a senior journalist at Israel’s Channel 14, posted images of the Gaza massacre with the caption: ‘The main lighting of the year in Rafah’,” according to MEE.
The post on X was later removed.
Another journalist, Naveh Dromi at i24, reposted a video of the blaze under the caption “Happy Holiday”.
That post was also later removed.
“One of the most shocking images from Rafah on Sunday night,” according to MEE, “was a man holding up the body of a child that had no head. A member of a popular right-wing Israeli Telegram group shared a photo of the man holding the dead child mocked up as an advert selling chicken.
“Fresh chicken 1 shekel a kilo,” it said.
If the zionists believe this constitutes “spiritual enlightenment”, one can only shudder at what their dark side would look like.
The horrific carnage of tents in flames and burned victims, many of whom were women and children, sparked an international outcry.
It must be borne in mind that the May 26 carnage was perpetrated two days after the International Court of Justice (ICJ) ordered Israel to halt its operations in Rafah.
This was Israel’s way of showing total disregard to the ICJ ruling.
The regime of Joe Biden even chimed in, despite the horrific carnage, that Israel has “the right to defend itself.”
No, it does not.
Israel is an occupying regime. It has no right to attack the people in Gaza or the West Bank.
Instead, international law allows the Palestinians to fight their occupiers by “whatever means necessary.”
Joe “I am a zionist” Biden must know this.
Or, is he too senile to remember?
Either way, he is complicit in the genocide Israel is perpetrating in Gaza.
