Israel perpetrating genocide, says Erdogan

Crescent International

The Zionist killing machine has resumed its genocide of defenceless Palestinians in Gaza. Some Israeli politicians have called for their annihilation including the mothers of Palestinian children. Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayip Erdogan has called this Zionist policy the same as that of Hitlers.

Israel is perpetrating genocide in Gaza while the international community as well as the UN remain silent spectators, according to Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayip Erdogan.

The Turkish Prime Minister made the remarks at an iftar meeting of Islamic scholars today in Istanbul (Turkey is 7 hours ahead of Toronto time).

“This is not the first time we have been confronted by such situations. Since (the creation of the Zionist state) in 1948 we have been witnessing” similar acts by Israel “every day and every month,” Erdogan said.

Earlier today, a five-hour ceasefire was arranged through the UN but as soon as it expired, the Zionist occupation army resumed its murderous attacks from the land, air and sea. Within a few hours, three Palestinian children from the same family were killed in Khan Younis.

Other deaths occurred at Rafah and Gaza City where Israel gunboats fired several missiles killing several children playing on the beach.

Since the Zionists launched their attacks on July 8, at least 231 people have been killed and 1,700 others injured. About a third of the Palestinian fatalities are women and children.

Erdogan also had harsh words for the United Nations, asking “What is the UN doing? Why has it been founded? For world peace? Does it contribute to the world peace? No.” UN is just following its “secret agenda,” he said.

Nearly 18,000 people have been forced to take shelter in Gaza schools as the Zionist regime attacks people’s homes.

Both the UN Human Rights Commission and Israeli human rights organization B’Tselem have denounced as illegal Israeli army claims that the neighboring houses of Palestinians suspected of carrying out military activities were considered to be legitimate targets of attacks. The UN has called them war crimes and in violation of the Geneva Conventions.

The Zionist regime that is pursuing a genocidal policy in Gaza is not likely to be deterred by such declarations. Violent racism is openly advocated by members of the Israeli Knesset.

Ayelet Shaked of the ultra-nationalist Jewish Home party called for the slaughter of Palestinian mothers who give birth to “little snakes,” according to a report in the Daily Sabah.

“They have to die and their houses should be demolished so that they cannot bear any more terrorists,” Shaked said, adding, “They are all our enemies and their blood should be on our hands. This also applies to the mothers of the dead terrorists.”

No Israeli politician to date has denounced Shaked’s racist attacks. This is not surprising because the Zionist regime practices this to the full.

Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan reacting to Shaked's remarks, said Israel's policy in Gaza is no different than Hitler's mentality.

“An Israeli woman said Palestinian mothers should be killed, too. And she's a member of the Israeli parliament. What is the difference between this mentality and Hitler's?” Erdogan asked.

Indeed.
