Security and intelligence agencies in Iran have arrested more than 700 Mossad agents operating in different parts of the country. On July 19, the police commander of Iran’s Lorestan Province, Brigadier General Yahya Elahi, announced the arrest of another 87 individuals accused of working with the zionist colonial entity.
The arrested individuals have been charged with a range of offenses, including spreading disinformation aimed at demoralizing the public, sabotage, contact with foreign intelligence agencies, and possession of explosives. All detainees have been handed over to the judicial authorities for prosecution.
Mossad, the illegitimate zionist entity’s spy agency, has recruited these agents over many years. They include members of the terrorist outfit, the Mujahideen-e Khalq Organization (MKO), popularly known as munafiqeen in Iran, Afghan refugees in Iran and also some Indian citizens. There is very close military and intelligence collaboration between Hindutva-dominated India and zionist Israel.
India is the largest importer of Israeli weapons. And tens of thousands of Indians have been recruited into the Israeli occupation forces to kill Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank.
The Mossad agents’ destructive role can be gleaned from the fact that they caused havoc inside Iran in the first few hours of Israel’s illegal and criminal attack on June 13. Several senior military and revolutionary guards commanders were martyred as were a number of nuclear scientists.
While Islamic Iran quickly recovered from these setbacks, the criminal and destructive role these terrorists working for a foreign entity played cannot be minimized. Their treason must not be forgiven. They deserve no mercy. Three have already been executed and others are on trial.
The zionists used them to smuggle drone parts and explosives into Iran. They were stored in different parts of the country and smuggled into Tehran in containers loaded on trucks. The drones were assembled and launched from these trucks at the time the zionist war criminals launched their attack on Iran.
The assassination of top commanders and scientists occurred in those early hours. A number of Iran’s air defence systems were also damaged although these were quickly restored and reactivated but the damage was done.
One of the most remarkable aspects has been the cooperation of the people when the security forces appealed to them for help. People’s committees sprang up in different cities throughout the country and started to inspect trucks and other vehicles carrying goods. It was as a result of thousands of tips received from alert citizens that so many Mossad agents have been apprehended.
On June 14 (a day after the zionists launched their criminal attack), the indicted war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu called upon the people of Iran to rise up and overthrow the Islamic government. He claimed to be a ‘friend’ of the Iranian people and wanted to ‘liberate’ them.
The Iranian people’s response has been loud and clear. They will not betray their country nor align themselves with a war criminal. They have delivered the proverbial punch in Netanyahu’s mouth by rejecting his call for an uprising. Instead, Netanyahu faces an uprising from Israeli citizens because of his criminal conduct.
Iran’s security, intelligence and judicial authorities must intensify their efforts to arrest the Mossad agents still at large. True, many of them have gone underground but Iran’s security and intelligence agencies should be able to extract information from those they have captured to identify other agents and find their whereabouts.
This campaign must be pursued vigorously. The terrorists deserve no mercy and should get none. The blood of the martyrs deserves no less.
Today, the people of Iran are united. They have set aside their political differences for a larger cause: the defence of their homeland. Their valiant defence during the 12-day zionist imposed war has earned them the admiration of the entire world. It was the zionists that begged for a ceasefire.
Throughout the war, Islamic Iran adhered to the Islamic principle of not attacking civilians despite the zionists targeting innocent civilians in Iran. Israeli attacks killed 935 civilians in Iran compared to only 40 civilians killed in Israel.
Israeli deaths occurred because their military and intelligence facilities were deliberately established among civilian areas. Thus, Israeli civilian deaths are collateral damage, not deliberate targeting.
As Iran continues with the trial of the terrorists, there will be loud noises emerging from the hypocritical west about human rights. Islamic Iran should pay no heed to these supporters of terrorists and criminals.
In the west—Europe and the US—innocent people are being hounded and arrested for simply speaking out in support of the Palestinian people. The west has no leg to stand on to talk about human rights. Their support of the zionist war criminals perpetrating genocide of innocent Palestinian people disqualifies them from speaking about human rights.
