The much-awaited Iranian missile strike on the zionist entity occurred in the evening of October 1.
Iran fired hundreds of hypersonic missiles, more than 90 percent of which hit their targets.
Israeli military, air, radar and intelligence bases were struck and destroyed in such places as Tel Aviv, Haifa and other cities.
Initially, Israel claimed that most missiles were intercepted but Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) showed video footage of missiles landing in Tel Aviv, Al Quds (Jerusalem) and other cities.
The IRGC called the operation “True Promise 2”.
Sirens wailed for many hours and the zionist occupation regime and its military warned citizens to remain in shelters and bunkers unless advised to do so otherwise.
The IRGC said it struck “the heart of the occupied territories” to avenge the killing of Hizbullah leader Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, IRGC General Abbas Nilforoushan and Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh.
Israeli military spokesman Daniel Hagari admitted that there were “a few hits in the centre of the country and in the south,” without providing details.
The zionist regime has imposed strict military censorship on all reporting relating to damage to military installations and infrastructure.
Also, since September 30, the regime has imposed a state of emergency.
Commenting on the strikes using hypersonic missiles, the Rahbar, Imam Seyyed Ali Khamenei described them as “Divine victory”.
President Masoud Pezeshkian, meanwhile said the missile launch was in “defence of the interests and citizens of Iran” and warned Netanyahu against entering into a conflict with Tehran.
Iran’s mission to the UN described the attack as a “legal, rational and legitimate response to the terrorist acts of the zionist regime – which involved … infringing upon the national sovereignty of the Islamic Republic of Iran”.
The IRGC said that if the zionist entity did anything foolish, there would be a swift response.
The White House issued a statement saying that President Joe Biden had ordered the US military to help Israel shoot Iran’s incoming missiles.
The Iraqi resistance militia issued a statement that if the American military got involved directly, US bases and assets in Iraq will be hit.
The US state department official claimed the Iranian missile strikes were “ineffective” and when asked whether the Washington pro-Israeli regime would act, he was evasive in his response.
The IRGC statement also said it had fired missiles at Israeli tanks in the Netzarim corridor that cuts the northern part of Gaza from the South.
The long-besieged and traumatized people of Gaza celebrated Iran’s missile strike and welcomed the successful operation.
This was the first time that Iran had used its hypersonic missiles.
They are not only extremely fast moving but also very accurate.
The zionists’ missile Iron dome batteries failed to intercept the missiles that were seen streaking through the sky in Jordan and the West Bank.
At the time of compiling this report (Tuesday October 1 at 11 pm), there was no military response from Israel.
The zionists were involved in lobbing only rhetorical volleys.
