Condolence gathering for the martyrs of Haj Ali Mallah's family members in South Lebanon

Unable to make any headway militarily against Hizbullah in Lebanon, the zionist war criminals target Lebanese civilians.

More than 3580 civilians have been murdered by the zionists in their relentless bombardment of residential areas in Lebanon.

Many family members of the martyrs reside in Toronto, Canada as well.

One of them is Haj Ali Mallah, a justice and human rights activist.

In a period of one week, several family members of Haj Ali Mallah have been martyred in South Lebanon.

In the first attack on Friday night November 15, the zionists bombed his brother’s house .

It resulted in the martyrdom of his brother, his wife and three young children.

The brother and his family had refused to abandon their house and relocate somewhere north.

They insisted that this is their land and they will not abandon it in the face of zionist barbarism.

Less than a week later, his other brother, Ismail Hussein Mallah, was also martyred when his house was bombed.

These multiple tragedies occurred two weeks after their elderly father had passed away.

Strong defender of human rights and social justice issues, Brother Ali Mallah has been in the forefront of speaking out for the Palestinians’ right to self-defence.

He has always been present in rallies for Palestine in Toronto and in other cities.

He is a pillar of strength for the Muslim community and has spoken out in their defence at all forums.

He is not only an outspoken defender of Palestinian rights but also of the rights of the Kashmiris.

A condolence gathering was held on November 23 at the Canadian Arab Federation attended by friends and allies.

Surah al-Fateha was recited for the martyrs.

Condolences were also offered to Professor Atif Kabursi on the death of his mother-in-law.

Later that evening, there was a majlis at Al Huda Islamic Center in Scarborough.

Members of the Lebanese community as well as other Muslims were in attendance in large numbers to make dua for the martyrs and offer condolences to the Mallah family.

Haj Ali Mallah’s life has been one of tragedies in recent years.

In 2021, his young daughter, Noor, a university student, suddenly passed away.

This was obviously a major blow to the family.

The recent multiple tragedies have added to the family’s grief.

We pray to Allah to grant the martyrs the highest place in Jannah and give the family sabr to bear this loss with fortitude.
