Notre Dame and al-Aqsa: Contrasting Responses

Two historical monuments—the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris and al-Masjid al Aqsa in Jerusalem—were engulfed in flames the same day. Notre Dame got almost blanket coverage but the Aqsa fire was totally ignored. Why?
