Zionists murder two more civilians in besieged Gaza

Crescent International

Killing unarmed Palestinian civilians is a favorite policy of the zionists. This is what they did again today when US-supplied Israeli warplanes bombed the tiny Gaza Strip several times killing two civilians, among them a three-year-old girl. While the cowardly Arab rulers have remained totally silent, Islamic Iran condemned the attacks in the strongest possible terms.

True to their criminal nature, the zionists murdered two more Palestinian civilians in the long besieged Gaza Strip today. One of the dead was a three-year-old girl.

Israeli warplanes carried out several attacks against the tiny Gaza Strip. Initially the Zionist rulers claimed they were targeting a training facility in Khan Younis in southern Gaza. Later, the planes returned to bomb the centre of Gaza and still later, Gaza City in the east of the enclave was bombed twice.

The zionists often use this time of the year to carry out their murderous attacks against defenceless Palestinians, aware that much of the world would be busy in Christmas celebrations.

Exactly five years ago, the zionists launched a vicious attack against the Gaza Strip lasting 22 days. Initially, Israeli planes bombed the Strip for several days; it was then followed by artillery, missile and tank attacks.

More than 1400 civilians among them one-third children were murdered in cold blood. Virtually the entire infrastructure of Gaza was destroyed. Schools, homes, shops, storage places, factories as well as hospitals were all bombed. Even livestock was not spared.

Again last years, the zionists launched another barbarous attack and pummeled the Strip for eight days killing 171 civilians. Thousands more were injured.

As a result of the siege, the people of Gaza have not been able to rebuild their homes. In cooperation with the Egyptian military regime that maintains the siege, the people of Gaza suffer extreme shortages of food, fuel and essential medicines.

Gaza’s sole power plant remains shut because of lack of spare parts and fuel shortage resulting in sewage not being treated and 90 percent of the water being contaminated. Raw sewage flows in the streets forcing children to walk through it.

While the Western world and its hypocritical rulers maintain a stunning silence in the face of zionist crimes, even rulers in the Muslim world are mum. The Saudis that finance the terrorist campaign in Syria have not uttered a word against the latest Zionist crime in Gaza.

Only the Islamic Republic of Iran has condemned the latest Zionist attack.

“Undoubtedly, this move is out of desperation and fear from the emergence of the third intifada of the oppressed Palestinians throughout the occupied territories, especially the Islamic resistance in the West Bank,” Iranian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Marziyeh Afkham said on Tuesday.

There are 1.7 million Palestinians living in the Gaza Strip. The conditions are so appalling that even the British Prime Minister David Cameron, no friend of the Palestinians, has described the Strip as the “world's largest open-air prison.”

The latest Zionist strikes have merely added to the misery of the Palestinian people.
