Claims by US and zionist media outlets (see here) that Iran was seeking talks to end the war have been rejected by Iranian officials.
Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister, Majid Takht-Ravanchi told MS-Now in an interview that Iran was in “defensive mode” defending its rights and freedoms.
When asked specifically whether Iran had sent word that it was open to talks, his response was categorical.
Iran hasn’t heard anything [from the US] nor has it communicated any message to the US since the US-zionist-imposed war was launched (see also here).
According to CNN “Iranian intelligence has sent word to the United States it could be prepared to open talks on how to end the war, according to people familiar with the indirect messages.”
The American channel went on: “US officials say there are no negotiations underway and that potential ‘off-ramps’ are unlikely to materialize in the near term.”
The New York Times first reported the alleged message from Iran.
This zionist mouthpiece is notorious for telling lies.
To add a bit of drama to the story, the NYT claimed “messages were conveyed through a third country to the CIA,” without naming the country.
What is revealing about these claims is that instead of Iranian diplomats, it was alleged that “Iranian intelligence” made the suggestion for talks.
Anyone with even rudimentary knowledge of Iran’s mode of operations would confirm that Iranian intelligence does not communicate with the intelligence agencies of enemy entities.
It is the foreign ministry that is tasked with such responsibilities or a special committee appointed by Iran’s National Security Council.
The report floating Iranian intelligence as having approached a third country is a clever way to camouflage the lie.
Intelligence operatives always operate in the shadows.
Thus, the question of what individual in the intelligence agency supposedly approached a third country remains unknown.
The fact is, the US is desperate for talks and a ceasefire.
On the very first day after the US-Israeli illegal war on Iran was launched in which Imam Seyyed Ali Khamenei and virtually his entire family were martyred, Donald Trump said he was prepared for a ceasefire.
Iran’s response was firm and categorical: “Get lost”.
Iranian officials have said that the US and Israel had crossed Tehran’s red line and now they will have to be punished.
Iran has vowed to inflict severe punishment on both criminal regimes.
Not only have a large number of US military personnel been killed in six days but most US military bases in the region have been severely damaged.
The top US general, Dan Caine, chairman joint chiefs of staff, admitted that the US cannot shoot down every drone being launched against US military installations and assets in retaliatory attacks.
This is clear admission from America’s top general that the US has no capacity to continue the war and that Iran is inflicting massive damage on its military assets.
The same is true of the zionist entity that has been subjected to a massive barrage of drone and missile strikes.
The zionist occupiers have imposed strict censorship but video footage by individuals shows the devastation inflicted on the illegal squatter colony in Palestine.
The much-touted USS Abraham Lincoln has also come under attack and has been forced to flee further away from Iran’s shores.
And there is the closure of the Strait of Hormuz.
About a quarter of the world’s oil flows through there.
Tankers have been stranded north of the Strait of Hormuz in the Persian Gulf as well as the south.
Qatar has stopped production of LNG because there is no more storage capacity.
Fuel prices are rising in the west and consumers are beginning to feel the pain because of the dastardly crimes committed by their rulers, especially Trump.
When Iran feels it has punished the US and zionist Israel sufficiently, only then there will be talk of a ceasefire.
Until then, any suggestion that Iran wants to talk with the US is nonsense.
