The NRA’s call to have armed guards in every school will only add to the number of people killed with guns and bullets.
The National Rifle Association (NRA) has come up with a novel suggestion: keep armed guards in all schools. That, according to the NRA will keep the bad guys from killing innocent people. I have a better idea: why not arm every child at school; make target practice compulsory so that next time a bad guy shows up, the kids will be ready for him? How ridiculous can the NRA get? The more guns in society — the US has 280 million guns among its population — the more likely that innocent people will be killed.
