Burning hearts of the Ummah

Abdulaziz-ul-Haqq ibn Orozco

Muslims must look inward to see why they are in such a bad state today.

Edward Snowden said, “not only do I believe in something, I believe in it enough that I’m willing to set my own life on fire and burn it to the ground.”

As a Muslim, I believe in Almighty Allah (swt), His Prophet (pbuh) and the noble Qur’an and I too am willing to set my life on fire so the raging flames within the heart will burn it into the ground “as I fight against the enemy of Islam side by side with those Muslim brothers who stand against injustice, those whose only way of life is seeking the righteous path; those who enjoin the good, forbid evil while sincerely following the creed.”

Our Ummah is going through a lot of turmoil, it has been so for the last two centuries, but the situation is getting uglier. No one else but we (the Muslims) are responsible for this catastrophe. We must rectify our own conduct.
