Boycott Indian Goods

Leila Hyder

One way to express disapproval of someone’s conduct is to boycott their goods. Given India’s criminal conduct in Kashmir, it is time to launch a systematic campaign to boycott Indian goods, inclusive of food, merchandise, clothing, and any other products. Alternative products are available everywhere. This applies especially to people — Muslims and non-Muslims — residing in the West. The campaign should begin by creating awareness about India’s barbaric practices in Kashmir as well as against Muslims and Dalits in India. Most people would respond positively to such a campaign. It will also send a powerful message to India that it cannot continue to act with impunity against innocent Muslims and Dalits, or indulge in war crimes (Kashmir). It is time to launch such a campaign in earnest now.
